I ALMOST DID NOT BUY THIS BECAUSE OF THE REVIEWS,BUT I TOOK LINKS OFF OF 7 WATCHES AND IT WORKED GREAT. I THINK PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE YOU HAVE TO TAKE OUT THE PIN IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, A LOT OF WATCHES HAVE AN ARROW POINT IN WHICH WAY TO PUSH OUT THE PIN.

Bought this to remove a few pins from my Omega Seamaster. I went to a jewelry store and the guy wanted $10 to remove a few links. I ordered this instead and within five minutes my watch fit perfectly. Great tool for the money.

Larger 22mm bracelets such as those found on many mens Invicta’s, Omega SeamMaster’s can be a tight squeeze, a 24mm is a snug fit and difficult to line the pin into the link.
24mm bracelets are frustrating and risk scratching the link when trying to blindly screw the pusher into the link cavity resulting in accidentally driving the pusher into the side of the link and creating a donut scratch.
With 22mm and smaller, if the link isn’t properly cleaned of grime before pin removal or was bent / inserted in reverse during a prior adjustment –this pusher will flex and either the pin will bend and possibly snap off inside the link or the plastic base can crack making the tool useless.
Tough pins and 22mm bracelets require firmly gripping the entire base from plunger to nose to prevent flexing and this can be challenging for smaller hands and those with a weaker grip.

18mm standard mens and smaller bracelets can be easily pushed apart by tool.
If you plan to frequently adjust 22mm and larger bracelets or have less than a strong grip to prevent this tool from flexing, then consider adding a brick tool or kit with brick tool and the same dealer offers these for $12 – $20 and the kit includes a sturdier but identical size pusher as this one. Just used this to resize two watch bands and it worked great, took about 3-5 minutes each. Granted, you have to be technical minded, pay attention to the direction of the arrows on your watch band to know which way to push the pin through and line up the pin tap with the hole on the band link. If eyesight is an issue, a steady hand is not available or finesse is not your thing, I’d recommend taking your watch to a jeweler to avoid frustration.

I broke two pins without even trying!! Bought another brand that was only a few dollars more and it worked beautifully. You pays your money and makes your choices, but this is a bad choice!
