This is a nice jewelry box but please pay attention to the dimensions-it is smaller than I thought it would be (which is MY fault for not paying enough attention:). It really is more the size of a travel case than a stand alone jewelry box and the “travel” case it comes with is very small, I can see using it for overnight trips but anything longer you can just take the whole thing-it has a handle in it for that reason anyway. In the pictures it looks like suede on the outside but actually it is kind of shiny and smooth. The inside however is suede like material and the whole thing seems to be pretty well made. You can actually fit a fair amount of jewelry in it depending on the size of your pieces. I recommend this if you know what your getting, don’t expect to keep a ton of stuff in it or might need a jewelry case for traveling.
